I would throw the carpet back in. Helps a lot with the noise and since it is your DD it can't hurt

Deff Put carpet back in. The pass floor gets amazingly hot and so does the jeep in the summer. I could not even tell that i had the a/c on when i went w/o carpet.

If yours is junk, go to a bone yard, tear apart the interior and take the carpet home. Soak it lightly in simple green and power wash it completely until the water spray as you power wash is clear and not dirty. I did this for a few people with used Xjs that had junk carpet and it comes out almost new.

I bet i could even make wills rear cargo area carpet look good.

my carpet is fine, and i know how loud it gets with no carpet... but theres something i like about the bed lined floors. idk... wee willll seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
