so i sank it last weekend going thru the v-town trail...(idk how this happened)

so i had to pull the carpet, and i knew the floors were shitty, but i soon realized i had noooo floor. So i cut it all out, cleaned it all up, and now im throwin in some sheetmetal. ill prolly finish later this week, and ill hurculine it all before throwing the carpet back in. I also strengthened the leaf mounts while i was at it by bridgeing over the top and to the side of the floor.

Find some street signs and throw those in as floors!

Or not, I'm not going to try and tell someone else how to build their vic. I just always thought it would be wicked cool for someone to have the floorboards of their vic to be street signs, and you happen to have already ripped out what you had as floor.... Just a thought.

so i spent waaaaayyyyy to much time on these damn floor boards, but they came out really nice. They are made outa some pretty heavy guage steel that i had kickin around.

                    passengers floor

got the other side cleaned up and strengthened the leaf mount.

                    all welded up

sealed it up with seam sealer

all in all im happy with the way it came out. i will NEVER spend the time and aggravation to make floor boards from scratch again. i had no money so i did wut i could with wut i had.

sorry fellas... i just used a measuring tape, cut off wheel, pliers, and a hammer. the few templates i did make were just to get the right curves on certain panels....

but if your suuuuuper nice, and realllllyy want them i can go make some templates of what i have. i think it all depends on where ya have to cut out to to get rid of the rust tho.
