I should have but didnt order them in time and theres no way if i ordered them tomorrow they'd be in for awhile. I am trying to have this thing driving wednesday. It really isnt a big deal to do them later, just unbolting the shock and removing the coil.

Mike, With all this work you are doing and while you have it all apart, You should get the front end unibody stiffeners. It will only make sense to plate it from the new stiffeners to the steering box so everything bolted on up front is extra beefy.

bye LCA mounts. grinding smooth tomorrow

    frame stiffeners in

Had to cut a hole in the frame to fix my left rear leaf spring mount. the nut was all cockeyed ( had to torch it out). Look how thin the fucking unibody is! Good thing im plating it. Gonna close it back up, weld it shut, and plate over it.

got a shit load done today, with the help of Matt ( JeepJuggalo ) and Jake.

Did the clutch, put the tranny and my tcase with sye on.

Welded on the frame stiffeners, they are tits.

Cut the lower CA mounts off.

Put the RE tracbar bracket on, put longer braided steel brakelines on.

Had to cut a hole in the frame near the left leaf spring hanger to get to the fucked up nut.

    Removed some gay plastic bumperettes.

Got some D44 wheel bearings and seals.

Tomorrow: Bring rear 44 to corey to get done up.
    Mount up belly skid.
    Install rear leafs.
Pull apart front 44, change inner seals, weld truss on.
    Brake lines

Ill get pics of progress when i go back over. Eating dinner right now.

so essentially what mike is waiting for is his waggy drop pitman, which is not equal to what was assumed to be a normal drop pitman, which is actually a drop...

playing word games is always a fun time

I'm running a stock waggy pitman arm, and it is much much flatter than a normal xj pitman.

Using a waggy drop pitman shouldn't cause any ill effects like Sam said.
