Wheeled the PISS out of my jeep twice in the last month and finally have a good idea what driver and vehicle are capable of.
Some issues I need to work.
Hydro assist is an absolute must and I also need a WJ power steering pump... Hubs: My hubs are mangled, from CV trail... I guess it was just me beating on it, but I cant afford to buy 100 dollars worth of hubs every time I chew em up on rocks. Ill buy one more set, but after that im gonna look into drive flanges since the jeep doesnt see much road time anymore.
wheels with less backspacing, or make protectors like justin did. the dana44 shaft seals kinda suck and when in 4wd constantly i have learned that water does find its way to the wheel bearings. i now use a crapload of waterproof grease and it seems to be fine.
Rear bumper... Need to do something, the stock one is getting beat the fuck up.
Armor:
Need to get either JCR or THOR guards, but moneys tight now that I bought another car.
Also need to beat my floors/sliders back down and figure out how im gonna tie them to the frame rails, I have access to a welder whenever I want now.
it didnt take much for me to beat my sliders down, i was surprised, few love taps with a sledge and they are back where they belong, i will be tying them in though
Other shit: My rear leaf springs, the bottom most leaf doesnt stay inline with the rest of them, it sits cockeyed , need to figure that out..
torque your u bolts
Rides like shit on the road now, pretty sure its tire balance issue, need to crack open the beads and add about 8 more Oz's of BB's.
Also need to go retighten up and grease all my joints in the suspension.
Tcase is leaking from somewhere, and both my diffs leak a tiny bit.
Also need to replace my rear window.
And... not sure what happened, but my brake pedal goes to the floor now. I bled the brakes and still nothing. Not sure what it could be , maybe my master cylinder or brake booster shit out, i dunno.
