I ordered 4.5 packs and i have my rusty's 1.5" extended shackles. Gives me about 6" of lift with plenty of room to not worry about sag far down the road. I'm not going to 4.5" of lift if thats what you were thinking, i'm sticking with the 5.5-6 setup.

I'm not too worried about fore and aft. I don't plan on competing with this thing anytime soon, just something that will get the job done on 95% of the trails i throw at it. I see tj's on 37's with more than 5.5 of lift and they don't roll, the xj wheelbase should do me just fine for now. When it becomes a full blown trail rig then shit will change.Last edited by Even; 12-02-2009, 03:42 AM.

Get this thing welded up within a week or two and get the 44 under there.
If you ordered a truss for your leaf sprung ford hp44, this is what it should look like

Both trusses are set-ups for radius arms. The "radius arm" truss is made for ford hp44's that came with cast or welded on wedges and wristed radius arms. The leaf sprung truss is set up for 44's that came with leaf spring mounts. I technically could use the truss i have now, but the guy at TNT told me it would be a hell of a lot more cutting and work then i would want to do.
