Just dropped the new head on.

Bolted the intake and exhaust manifold both to the head while it was on the workbench and had me dad help me drop it on. Used the old bolts with the heads cut off and slots cut in them so i could use them to line up my new head so it would drop on first shot.

Transfer case linkage was totally shot so i decided to fab something up from scratch. Came up with this. Shifts perfectly.

Works on the 231 and needs the unistrut extension for the 242. Can give dimensions if anyone needs them.

Bought another transfer case with a SYE and a rear shaft from Dan for $100 and swapped that in. Rebuilt/painted the shaft while it was out. New steering box as well. Durango Upgrade.

Fabbed up some custom Shackle relocation brackets. Just finished welding them up not too long ago.

Going to buy some rustys .75" shackles (should end up with 2" more lift in the rear) and then level it in the front with 6.5" coils.

Cut and folded my rear quarter panels. Passenger side was super rusty so i had to cut out the big hole. Patched it, and then just folded it up and bedlined it.

Bent another piece to replace the rusty piece at work in a break. Better than buying a replacement as mine was free.

Bought two axles from Sardo on here.

                $1,200.

D44 rear and HP D30 front.

                4.56s.
                Aussie Lockers
                WJ Brakes.
                DOM Tubing for steering.

I think the front HP D30 aussie locker is toasted as i found a bunch of metal shit in the diff.

They need new seals and some other shenanigans.

Tore both of them down and painted them both.

Driver side wheel bearing went. Had to replace that. Did the U-Joint at the same time.

Really wish it would of held out for another month or so as i'm swapping both the axles soon.

Also bought a Snap On 1/2" impact. Thing works wonders.

Now that i'm up to date in this thread here's what i'm currently working on.

Have my manifold set up for on board air. Pressure regulator kicks on at 105 and off at 155 (or 160 i can't remember.)

Just need to go buy another 2" long 3/8" nipple and a pressure relief valve.

Have 30' of 3/8" air line to run air lines throughout the jeep. Going to need a tank as well.

Hmmmm. There is a lot of win going on in this thread. Im glad those axles went to you.

Also I have no idea if there are any problems with that frond locker, had all 4 wheels spinning the last time I took it across my friends lawn. Where there any more bits of metal in the diff than what you texted me?

Thank you. Just doing what it takes to get this heep together.

I don't either. Been so fucking busy doing other shit i haven't had the time to look at them. Combine that with the fact that i'm clueless with gears, lockers, how to remove them, etc i'm just about useless.

If anything is broken, i hope it's the aussie. I hope something else that costs WAY more money to fix isn't fucked. The majority on NAXJA think that pin is the 'roll pin for the center pin'. As for that other piece, they think it's from the ring gear (although i didn't see anything missing.)

Do you know who geared it? I might message him and see if the previous ring gear was exploded or something along those lines to see if maybe it's something from the previous gears that were installed.

look in that thread you posted on there asking about the original CL ad you saw before you knew it was me. a few guys commented on who did the gear work.

also post a pic of the pieces on here, i only saw that one small roll pin looking thing you sent me.

                              Found it. Messaging him now.

Here's the picture. Just need to figure out how to pull the carrier.

Might be a dumb question but how do i get the pin out of the center of the Aussie? It looks like if i go to pull it out it'll hit the ring gear.
