    Good looking rig

My only concern with that bumper is the approach angle, but other than that it's solid as Hell.

I realized that. It took me quite a while to load it as well. I'm going to shrink all the pictures tonight, and size them down, then up them to photobucket, and make it better. Give me an hour or two and it'll be fixed.

Not even sure, I'm going to get rid of the excess of pictures in a few.

I don't offroad too much, for my purposes it should be fine. I was going to go with the RC one, but it was more expensive, and the roller fairlead wasn't centered. That would of pissed me off beyond belief. For my purposes this should be fine. It's really sturdy, and feels really nice on the jeep.

Everything is fixed. If you still see something wrong, say something.

Pictures are all resized and downsized. Thread should load a LOT faster now. I also got rid of all the pictures that weren't specific and i narrowed everything down. Instead of lots of pictures, i just put up a few of each.

I know it's still a lot of pictures at once, but it's all on one page as compared to most of you guys having that much information stretched over a few pages. I'm going to post a few pictures of how the jeep currently sits. I'll be sure to downsize the rest of the pictures i post in this thread.

I think another problem is the absurd amount of useless pictures. We understand what the vacuum bubble on a newer XJ looks like, we don't need three different pictures of the throttle body and we definitely don't need pictures of the cut off wheel you used unless you're actually doing a writeup for the petty humans that reside in Jeepforumland. Picture size taken care of, just trim the fat and keep up the good work.

Jeepforum gets mad if you look at a bolt for more than .65 seconds (.7 on cold days) without making a writeup.

Thank you. I'll go through and try to trim it down some more. The resizing of the pictures and getting rid of about half of what i had really made a difference. This thread loads way faster now. I'm pretty used to posting on the JF, and most of the population there needs you to hold their hand and explain everything.

Does anyone know how to get the picture to the left of your thread? Most people have a picture of what they're building, but i can't seem to figure out how to put a picture there.

                  dude i'm impressed.

Very, very clean build with good detail, a little fabrication, and welds that don't make me want to go hang myself.

It looks good man, keep up the good work.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

Thanks dude. It means a lot. I'm trying to do this as professionally as i can. I'm trying to not nigger rig the the thing together.

In case anyone is wondering, i never bought those two D44's locked with 4.88s. I had them reserved and that fucker sold them out from under me. I even asked him if he wanted a cash deposit so he would keep them, and he told me "No, i'll keep them for you". What a fucker.

I'm trying to figure out what i want to do in terms of axles and lockers now. I'm really not sure. I'm also in the market for a Dual Sport motorcycle that i can beat around town just for good MPGs.

My rear driver side shock is shot. The one in the back. Does anyone know any good shocks for the rear that i should replace them with that aren't too expensive? I think i also need new bumpstops. It's never over.

What height are you at? I might have some 4-4.5"ish whitebodies lying around. They'd get you by until you can get something legit like Bilsteins.

4.5" Rough Country Long Arms. The only thing that determines height is the lift kit, correct? I'm not leaving anything out of the equation? How much is a nice pair of Bilsteins?

I don't even know why that guy has one. I've never seen him use it. I try to always work on my jeep there, that guy has everything you could ever imagine when it comes to tools, and he's knowledgeable. Normally i just ask him my questions instead of reading up on it.

I just realized i never posted a full picture of what the thing looks like.

I just took these pictures today, they are the most up to date you'll get. I think the next thing on the to do list is lights on that light bar (on the bumper), and a winch. Shortly after that i want a light bar (on the roof) and 4 lights to fill that.

Does anyone know where i can get full size rails for the top of my XJ? Mine stop at the back side of the driver door, and do not extend all the way to the front of the vehicle.

                                A nice set of 5160's? You're looking at around 200 a shock or so. Don't get 5150's, they're garbage.

You could do 5100's for cheaper, between half and 2/3rds the price of 5160's.
