As soon as I know the day the rear will be geared, I'm ordering 35's that day. Like everything else though, it'll happen when I come back in March

          • Well, after knowing for over a year that I had two small holes in my floor, I finally decided to pull the front seats out. After removing the section of carpet I essentially opened a can of worms to this:

            Drivers Side

            Passenger Side

Drivers side, taking out the carpet my foot went through here:

            Drivers side foot well:

There is more hole then floor. On the bright side though, I ordered my disc break conversion for the D44...

                        • So for the rest of the day I cut out the cancer and ground down the area around it to cleaner metal. Its not as bad as it looked.

                          Drivers side:

Hux, I think tomorrow I'm going to get some 18gage (maybe) sheet metal from Logan and make my own floor plans using paper templates. After that, I'll cover the whole thing with Herculiner to seal it, and yes, the carpet is going back it after a shampooing...maybe

                          • Awesome, dude. I vote put it back in, I drove without carpet in mine for a bit and I damn near burned my leg off.

                              • Now, when you say making your own pans you mean you're going to cut out more than you have and completely replace it right? I was going to say if you're just going to patch what you currently have cut open, I'd recommend maybe por 15 or something more along those lines if you're going to put the carpet back in. If not, replace and herculine just mo, I don't think you'd benefit from the herculine if the carpet was going back in.
