I bought the ones without the tear drop and the backing for 72 dollars total at tractor supply. Then my fasha wanted to pitch in and paid an extra 25 bucks or so a fender and traded them in for the ones you see here. I think they were about 60-65 bucks a piece. The ones that didn't have the sheetmetal back and the tear drop in the center were 36 a piece.

Built a front bar thing to tie stuff to.
Not much left to do for inspection except wire/light it.

Took it out on the highway today, oh it will be a nice ride down to rausch

Notice the half painted back end. Going back out to do some more wiring, painting, bearing greasing, box mounting, winch mounting, batter mounting, and maybe some ramps in case I blow my shit up at rausch and can't get it back on the trailer

                      just some critiquing here

why not load it up the more aerodynamically way?

and every rig i have ever seen at rc has been died down at the axles so no stress is put on the suspension.

Good questions, the body is tied down to prevent excessive body roll so the trailer doesn't drive me. I back the truck on to keep the tongue weight down, it is just a caprice No heavy duty load sensing springs like a truck unfortunately.

Oh and it's only tied from the body in the front, the rear was tied to the axle.
