  • Little more work done, it sits on it's own four feet now. Springs are temporarily in. Steering is tacked in place and looks like all will work well when cycled up and down. The only thing I could really do to the trackbar is make a new frame bracket and lower the entire trackbar down some. We'll see.

is your track bar the same length as your drag link?

LOL, drove it a little today. Found that the heim on the draglink at the pitman arm end hits the tie-rod. Already found a fix for that with a new pitman arm from a secret source.

The rear brakes are done, got tube for my coil spring holder bumpstop things. Also thought of an idea for adjustable bump stops but we'll see about that tomorrow.

Thinkin I'm gonna pick up some 36" iroks for 16" rims and try using the stock rims for a little while. Then I can continue the search for h1s or I may just throw some bead locks on the 16" rims. I'm slightly concerned about getting a 13.5" wide tires on a 7" rim. I know they will work but I'm concerned about the tire roll-over factor. Any thoughts???? Runnin out of time for rims and tarz.

The pitman arm isn't even drilled out yet, just a little 3/8 bolt in there for mock up and driveway touring right now.

Could you find out if they are sx's or just tsls? Maybe a phone number? Sort of interested...

                • Diff cover came in today, made the front bump stops. I made them adjustable with a 1" bolt. I also was able to lower the trac-bar about another inch on the axle side to match the drag link angle perfectly. Should have plenty of room between the oil pan and the links now. Don't get me wrong it's damn close but I'll bottom the shocks before I send the trac-bar into the crank.

                  • Finished the upper control arm mounts and trac bar brackets, welded and painted up the steering.

                    Dana 60 vs dana 30

Lots of holes for spot welds to connect frame to bracket.

Little booger snot here but acceptable enough.

                        • Dude thats some beefy ness. Are you planning on making a removable cover for that third link? i have seen a few other builds where they make some kind of removable cover with a doorjamb like gasket to make it water tight around there. It looks sweet.

You should go to Sams club and buy Dr, Thunder and drink that instead.

That's where I orignally came up with the name back in 5th grade or so, my first email was drthunder because it was my favorite soda. I have since stepped up to Dr. Pepper cause really there is no comparison between the two sodas.

Yea, I plan on making a removable door for the upper link mount.
