Got the new axle in finally. It looks the same as the old one. I didn't take any pictures. But, I has a rear locker now.

I picked up John's old 44a. Has a BTF cover, skid/truss, and a spartan locker in it

And by picked up I mean it's at dizzys shop (because he's a mechanic, in case you didn't know) and I need to find a weekend to get it in before Rausch.

That would have been nice, but right now I gotta save what I can. Perhaps next summer. I didn't realize the axle had all new brackets and everything. Nice surprise

Sits a bit higher in the rear now with the new axle, and vibes a bit. The driveshaft angle needs some adjustment, but my stupid IRO a arm is beyond seized, so zero adjustment to raise the pinion angle. May need to pick a new one up soon to fix it. Regardless, just made a nice 800mile or so trip to NH and back without an issue. Was actually very comfortable. I got a 3" tailpipe for it finally from IRO since I'm sick of it rattling on the skid. Should have that on soon. It could probably use some brakes too, so akebono front calipers and some Napa pads/rotors may be in the near future.

Picked up a Rough Cuntry 12" LED bar on amazon for $65 and threw it on yesterday. Also, no pics, but I went to put on a 3" tailpipe I got from IRO awhile back and the exit on the muffler just crumbled. So, I went a different route and ordered a Dynomax VT muffler from Summit. Hopefully will have that on this weekend. I hope it sounds similar to the flowmaster I have, but I'll take quieter as well.
