  • "The Slade" Build

    2000 XJ Sport
    Automatic

Parents gave her to me when I got my license when I was 17 as a first car. They though I would crash it and get a nicer car. Well still to this day, no accident haha.

    Here she is stock-

She remained stock for only 4 months. I found out how much fun offroading is and decided I wanted to better my Jeep. Ordered a RE 3.5'' Lift kit, 31X10.50 Pro Comp X-Terrains on Pro Comp Rims.
The day I picked her up (didnt have adequate tools at the time to do it myself)-

Wheeled her like that for a few months-

Then picked up a Surco Roof Rack and KCs-

    Went doorless that summer-

Then came the phase that too this day is beyond me....painted some shit gay orange-

Then came the 33X12.50 BFG ATs on Pro Comp Wheels-

She got regeared and SYEd and Tom Woods shafted a few months after the BFGs.

Decided she needed a paintjob (the old one was all scratched up and not cool enough)-

THe star has been redone...the first one came out like shit.

Detours Tailbone tire carrier, Bushwackers, and Gobi Ladder came next-

    4 Delta Lights are next-

She then got a face surgery with a Treks Bumper and Superwinch Winch-

Some more paint and small details to make it more like a WWII Willys-

The last picture is how she sits today but not for long. Just ordered 35'' KM2s that should be here in 5 days. Lots more has been done that I cant remember....will post as I remember them haha.

normally I'd say you're a douche for going from a mint paint job to flat olive drab, but it actually looks clean as hell. Nice job.

I said it at the meet and I'll say it again- I love that ladder.

                    thanks guys.

wannabejeep- well the paintjob was pretty fucked up. The pics make it look great but it was scratched badly. And for some odd reason the OD flat paint job makes dents looks not so bad

Right now I got the 29 spline 8.25. I'll be getting a 44 probably when it breaks. It's only a matter of time haha.
