Well I havent updated this in a while or even been around since my gf and I bought our house, thats a whole new world of work, but Im catching up so I thought Id throw some updates out there.

lifted her a while back, here is where i was working on the front and used my winch to help move the axle into place.


Here is it sitting in the driveway its all its multicolored glory


The tank was rusted through and I was having a hell of a time finding a sending unit for it so I just went with a fuel cell in the bed for now, maybe i'll tuck it under the bed when I have more time to mess with it


i started painting the front clip and I even scraped up enough time to whip up a little front bumper for it



Now i think the color choice may change since i bought most of Dizzys rolled cherokee to do a complete drivetrain and dash swap. Since its gonna be a little nicer now I think i should go with somthing other then Olive drab we will see, its really a shame to pull this motor since its been running like a dream, bu hey what ya gonna do..Also once the dash is out I'm gonna lay a nice cage in it, install the 4.88's, lockers, box rockers, and a few other goodies. This thing has been awsome since Ive been doing all the work on the housing, loading and hauling all the things that go along with it. I look foward to building this thing more and more

Thanks, yea once I switch everything over to the 98 stuff I'm going to retro fit the xj gas tank setup under there somwhere, and Caleb I'll gladly sell you the engine when it comes out, thing runs mint.

Whats involved with switching over to an open cooling system? I wanna swap mine over.

Its really easy, you just need a newer radiator that has a cap, some hose to hook the heatercore to the waterpump, and some sort of overflow bottle, i just used a water bottle with a ole in the cap for now haha.

Just wanted to throw up one of the final shots of Dizzys rolled XJ, this will be the donor for the eventual 97+ conversion for the MJ, complete front clip, engine, tranny, harness..etc..Right now my plans are to run its current engine till she dies..which knock on wood could be awhile she purs pretty good for 194xxx..So we will see...In the pic the jeep is just about completly stripped..
