OK some of you may remember my "fuck rusty's" thread that I posted a while back when I waited 6 weeks to get my tcase skid. Well I'm about to fucking lose it. Finally I get around to installing it and I go to mock it up and something isn't right. I ordered the one for the 242 which is what I have but I think they sent me the ZJ version if that is possible. This thing hangs down like 4 inches below my crossmember. There is like a 3 inch gap between my t case and the skid.
And now of course the skid is out of the package and has some little scrapes on it from being set down on the driveway etc. So I probably can't return it if it is in fact the wrong one. If someone has any light they can shed on this subject by all means please do. I'm just going to make my own skid and sell this fucking piece of shit. fuck.1993 XJ sport 3.5" rustys 33" MTZ's armored.

its gonna be low, its the same design as the skidrow. but land on it a few times and it wont hang down as low
www.rustysmakescrappyproducts.comThe 231 version is shown, the 242 has an additional bend to match the crossmember and lower drop of the 242 transfer case. The 242 version does drop more than the 231 version but due to the drop of the 242 transfer case there's no way around it.
the ZJ one simply will not line up with XJ lines.
