FREEP BUILD

Got this turd for free in april. It had about 146k on the clock and the front grille was completely destroyed. There was no exhaust after the cat and it had an over heating problem. The rockers had some rot (and still do) and the paint was all fucked up. The kid who owned it a couple people before me decided to spray paint on the side, but the kid who got it just before me sanded it off.

Did a rusty's 3 inch aal and replaced the water pump, thinking that would solve me overheating problem.

Got some 33 inch dunlop rovers for $200 bucks, they were dry rotted to hell but got the job done. Mounted them on some black soft 8's (15x8)

Got a winch bumper for $100 and put that on along with some walmart lights.

I stole some corner lights from some girls jeep at a party (actually ended up at a traffic light right next to her when I was home from school a few weeks ago)
Bought a set of BFG mud terrains and an extra wheel so now I have a full size spare.

Got bored one night and decided some painting was in order, planned to do the rear quarter panels and the bottom of the doors but after we did that it looked like something was missing. Ended up painting the entire door which covered up all the sanded portions.


Got rusty's lower quarter panel armor for xmas so I put that on too after I painted it.

Also bought a head unit and since the previous owners had ripped out all of the polk speakers I put some free infinity 6x9's in boxes in the back. I still have to install the steering box brace and rusty's tcase skid that are sitting at my house.

Even tho that thing was huge I miss that bumper. It used to love deer.....and trees!!

well, my registration and title is officially a giant mess. Got a letter from the DMV asking if I want to renew my registration on the burb, which is where i switched the plates from. I'm seriously thinking about buying my friends 91 for dirt cheap and scrapping mine after the parts swap.

ok I think I got the registration shit figured out. Now I just have to pass emmisions. I put my front flares on today, I'm not happy but I will take some pics tomorrow. Also got some locks to protect my bling rims from getting stolen (thanks for the idea phil) and put my mirrors on.

bahahaha I'm running 33's on like 2 inches of lift up front with no bumpstopping, there wasn't enough fender left to line them up with that body line .

OK so the jeep passed emissions on saturday, this is amazing for 2 reasons.
1. It stayed running long enough for them to test it
2. My 6'9" dad was able to jam himself in there to drive it to the testing place.
