family can drive my vehicles, nobody else really.

I let the GF drive my jeep when it was on 35's (standard) and she pretty much pulled out of a gas station, jumped the clutch and stalled in the middle of a busy road and paniced.... had to get out and drive it after that. Let her drive it on the trails in 4lo and she nailed both my diff's on big rocks, freaked out and wouldnt drive it anymore

i let my gf drive it on the beach she likes it but on the road she says its hard to control and scary (shes used to driving her VDub)...im alittle anal about it cause people tend to beat/be careless about shit if its not their own and they didnt pay for it...

depends on what mood im in i guess...

                    THE WJ...

Summer 05 I was heading down to Florida with mai best friend after graduating college. Stopped for a couple days in NC at girls place. Then we stop for a couple days in West Palm B at girls place. She was house sitting for a few months and our final destination was Tampa. I didn't find out what happened for a few months when we were playing some drinking games with these hawt half naked German chicks in Clearwater. But my friend took my car in the middle of the night to buy condoms... got so lost and ended up getting pulled over middle of the night for speeding... eventually made it back hours later and got laid. When I found out what he did I just high-fived him.

I've let a few friends drive it, but I trust them and usually it is a hawt chick.

                    THE XJ...
Isn't the easiest vehicle to drive on the highway... Pretty sure I'm the only one that has. I've let Chris wheel it, but don't think anyone else has yet. & I do sorta enjoy watching someone else wheel it like Andy said.

                      thats awesome Doug.

That made me think, when I was stationed in P-Cola, FL I let a buddy take my car one week down to Daytona Beach. He came back and everything was fine except a small dent in the rear bumper. He wasnt even sure what had happened.. we popped it out and all was good.

3 months later I am in California and my dad calls me says that he got a letter in the mail from somebodys insurance company saying they are sueing me. Apparently on that trip someone hit the car, said it was our fault. Got my license number and then proceeded to sue me for running into them.

After speaking with my insurance company and there it was all dropped though.

only people i really trust drive my XJ. it has a lot of quirks to it (as do most off road vehicles) and you can only be in complete control and have proper judgment with what to do if you know the vehicle in and out. i trust someone who drives a modded jeep to drive it more so than anyone else, but more likely than not i will be the one behind the wheel if possible. it isnt so much ability as just awareness, i dont want someone to be behind the helm when the jeep shits itself in some way other than myself

the impreza is just like any other car, drive it, if u crash it, fix it.

I don't care who drives my jeep.

I let people who haven't wheeled before drive it and not give a crap... I let my friend Nate drive the beaner and he drove it straight into a tree. i was like ummmm dont do that.

My truck I will be choosy who drives it. If they can drive a manual I might let them... I just let them know the quirks of my truck. If they cannot drive manual I will not let them learn on my truck.
