It seems more like a movie ad

this is why i didnt do it

i can make movie trailers in my sleep now and its whats expected all the time....ala KOH RCQ or RCrocs....outside the box and trying new routes for something that is generally extremely boring and unsuccessful (land-use) i think could be a positive thing/

the idea of this teaser is to get people to go to the website at the end, plain and simple. the website is what the film is (will be) based at. once people are led to the website, the purpose is extremely evident

the link in the video is to a coming soon page, but i do have a non functioning prelim demo of the layout on the web for my personal use that i can post here

i basically dont want something like the KOH trailer, the KOH trailer was made to sell DVDs and that is all...this im not getting paid for, this is 100% exposure and as a benefit to the sport project, with people involved in the land use end of the sport and similar lending their help and allowing exposure...the idea is to get people to the website and view and/or know about the upcoming film...and its purpose.

essentially i dont want someone to go, oh cool trailer, ill look forward to it.

i want people to see clues and highlighted points and go shit, what? that was cool but lemme see what this site is all about

if that aint someones cup of tea thats cool, you cant appeal to every single person with 1 marketing style

i just showed the vid to my mother without telling her what its about. afterwards she said it is very creative and what else it's about. i asked if she would visit the website to find out more info and she replied "absolutely".

i found the second video better, it actually got my attention more. the first one seemed like there was going to be some kind of end of world video coming out soon where we all die. however i got the offroad point as well, there was mixed feelings there. The first one was sort of inspirational to me to want to tell more people about how offroaders are discriminated upon.
