Agree with both RJ and Mike, I beleive that he's a very competent drummer but is lame compared to greats like buddy rich, even contemporaries such as Carter Beuiford and Danny Carey are way more impressive a percussion artist without even having to solo

In all honesty i learned to play metallica's drums right when i got into drumming it was quite easy to learn. It is quite easy to learn most of there songs follow the same rhythms with little variations. Lars has never really impressed me as a drummer.
