lets spend a billiondy of taxpayer dollars to get rid of these perfectly good vehicles, and render them useless. now the people with the new vehicles have a new monthy car payment, higher insurance bill, all for 5 more mpg's.

You forgot higher vehicle tax. That lovely bill I get every 6 months or year from the town of Trumbull for both my jeeps.

i love the fact that it gets cheaper vehicles off the road so that people who cannot afford or get financed for a new car don't get the chance to buy any of these. cash for clunkers fucking sucks

I just watched a dealership lock up engines on a 2003 WJ 4.7 V8 limited in mint shape and a mint 98 5.9 limited as well as a few dozen other good cars. They pour a mixture of water and fine glass in the engine after draining the oil and run them till the blow. What a shame.

The Wj was local but the 5.9 is you tube.

Its the Gov't way of trying to get old gas guzzeling cars off the road and keeping them off the road by destroying the engines and making those vin numbers not re registerable.

The cars are only good for scrap metal and spare parts minus the engine.

he definitely didnt put enough in that 5.9. Its not actually glass. its sodium silicate which actually turns into glass when heated. We just ordered a bunch the other day so i should have some videos pretty soon.
