It is all a vicious cycle. When a group of people becomes unruly, people call upon an armed police force for protection. The more unruly that group becomes, the heavier armed the police become and it only escalates. A thug was killed and people rioted, so the police came to quell the riots, and the riot only get larger and more unruly, property gets trashed and destroyed, stores looted and cars burned and the police presence grows even more. The age old cliche phrase 'Fuck the Police' is written at every corner, on every shirt and even written on the chests and backs of the unruly and you for a second think in your delusional paradise to think the police will back down?

We don't live in a police state, North Korea is a police state to the furthest extent of the definition. The current state of the police in this country is a direct reflection of the crumbling decay that we call society in the inner city where apathy and crime spreads like an infectious disease.

Violence perpetuates violence and to think only the police are to blame then you are truly lost.

On my phone and don't know how to paste links, but I've just read 3 different articles that Dorian Brown and the other "hands up" witnesses are now changing their stories since they said he was shot in the back and the coroner's report shows not a single shot to the back. The cop has a broken eye socket from a punch and now Johnson has supposedly states that his friend attacked the cop and tried to take his gun.

If this all comes out as facts and the cop is not charged for anything I think Ferguson will burn to the ground by its own citizens
