Explain again why you just purchased a 30,000 dollar Jeep??

You could have posted this in any section of this forum and the replies would have remained of the same caliber. It's not where it's posted, it's the poster.

ive wanted a JK for a long long long time. #1 reason i haven't bought one yet:

the aftermarket parts are expensive and there's no way i could keep it stock.

gotta pay to play with the big boys

I would have spent only but a third of the money and none of the reliability. I need a vehicle that will get me to work regardless.

See above: reliability and peace of mind.

There is a time to bust balls and a time to shed some light on a topic, but around here too many cocksuckers, not enough advice. I'm going to jeepforum.

I can put on cheaper sliders with reviews that are just as good. I'm not making them out of aluminum foil, I'm just saying they're more for looks and convenience rather than smashing rocks with said $30,000 jeep. You advice is valid for someone looking to abuse their ride, I'm not there yet.

Dont assume because its new and expensive that it is more reliable. I mean, I am just saying.

I'm picking up what you're putting down.

But we're talking new versus used, not new versus new.

your OP says down the line it'll be a toy. why not spend the money now on something that will last up and past that point, instead of buying something because its cheap and joe from the interwebs says they are good....and then having to replace with something actually good when you are ready to mod it?

expensive toys come with big price tags when you try to mod.

I've got a rather expensive jeep too and I can't leave well enough along. Trust me man, enjoy it for it's stock, reliable, easy glory.

With all due respect, I should buy it because Nicole from the Internet says it's a better product? Unless I try them both, is reading reviews not the best method? I came here for the input and will consider what you said.
                              Thanks.

It just looks bare without anything under the doors. Not doing anything else.
