& there is in tiny Summit County?

Gallatin County has over 3 times the population Summit does.

Gallatin county is also over 4 times the size of summit. From where I lived there were 7 well known ski areas anywhere from a 2 minute drive to an hour drive. World class river rafting, thousands of miles of snowmobile trails and passes which in the summer become 4 wheeling trails, mountain biking/hiking trails right out your backdoor, denver was an hour and twenty minute ride with easy access to all the sports stadiums, bars, etc. Rocky Mountain National was also about an hour and a half drive. Plenty of things to do.

Is anyone planning on heading to the mountains to board or ski, this weekend?

I will probably end up at Killington or Okemo on Saturday and Sunday. I hear/read about a trifecta storm between today and Sunday that will dump around 18" when it is done.

Went to gunstock last sunday for the first time out this winter, the conditions were actually better then I expected. lots of manmade snow but it was a bit warmer so at least it was soft. Have a trip to sugarloaf planned this weekend, hopefully we get hit with a significant amount of snow the next couple days.

I am doing a day trip to Hunter on Sunday. Should be pretty good considering they got 12" yesterday and should get more this weekend.
