Don't post, just lurk. Then nobody knows what you're doing, but you know what everyone else is doing. Facebook creates massive FOMO.

i heart facebook stalking.
but i agree...total FOMO is created from facebook.
and jealously. you see people doing things that you don't get to do...or people bragging about things...makes you think your life sucks. and x2 on what sam says. you always have to be careful with posting things because you're afraid someone will get upsetmrs. heavymetal from jeepforum

Deleting my facebook was the best thing I ever did. I hear people bitch enough throughout the day, I don't need to see it on the internet. Not to mention those people who are attention whores and must post about every single thing they do.
It is pretty funny how stupid people are though. Like when college kids wonder why they can't find a job but there are pictures all over facebook of them getting trashed and doing stupid shit. Employers can search facebook easily. The campus police think facebook is awesome. Everyone posts about their underage drinking parties along with pictures of who is going, where, and what time. It makes their job much easier.-Josh

I have a Facebook page and I do use it a little, but mine is because of a divorce and my kids still living in Michigan. When they posted pictures from their proms, awards nights, etc it was nice. Now that they are both out of highschool they aren't on it as much, but they still send me pictures and chat through it a little bit. My son is trying to learn how to fix his own car so he sends questions, pictures and other things in hopes I can walk him through it. Much easier than emailing back and forth.
