My old WJ's blower motor would stop and then i would reach down where the connector is (passenger side) while i was driving and wiggle it and it would start working again!

My WJ had this same issue, my problem was the blower resistor I would hit dash and it would blow . If its the blower its three screws and a plug the best part, don't have to take the dash out.
didnt read all the way saw this was already said...1984 2.8 V6 XJ 2 door, 3'' lift 33'' general grabbers, 4.56 gears and half dead #rebuild
