well now that ive been at work for 2 hours she finally decided to text me saying that it isnt necessary to come in, and she dosent feel like getting stuck at work........

After taking a gorgeous 6:30am ride into the wonderful paradise we call Waterbury, I arrived at the home improvement warehouse The Home Depot, full of nothing but smiling faces and the nicest of civilians. I had an interview scheduled at 7am since last week, and I was pretty excited about the possible employment opportunity. The lovely department manager was in another store at the time, which is okay because it isn't like she had an interview that morning. I got to speak with the next gentleman in the chain of command. He let me know his store was much too busy for me and my interview, but took my name and number and said he'd call me within the half hour (that expired 36 minutes ago) to reschedule. I didn't mind not getting a heads up call before making the drive, because that would have taken so much time from these wonderful people's day. In fact I'm almost upset the store is located so close to the highway so I could have spent more time in Waterbury.

Relevant because its raining and its made my day that much brighter. And because the hurricane fucked up my interview which im sure is much worse than its got planned for my house.

oh and now i recieved a company wide email detailing how to stay safe, be prepared, and we dont have to work.....
