Well, during Irene they had a lot of the entrance ramps blocked. I didn't actually run into anyone on rt15. I was just told by the building supervisor that I had to take it regardless. They did just say on one of the news broadcasts that they don't have the equipment to block off every entrance.


I'm sure you can get on them anyhow, but I sure as fuck wouldn't want to get caught. I remember last year in East Haven they had tried to evacuate the coast line and basically said you can stay at your own risk, but once the evac is in place they wouldn't risk their emergency personal because you didn't list. I wonder if this is the same idea...

I'm less than a quarter mile from the beach, the wind is ridiculous right now and only supposed to get worse. 92 mph sustained winds here we go.
