It was a new store that was struggling, i started as a parts pro, within a couple weeks they fired the assistant manager because he was a dumbass and the GM of the store gave me the position. It turned out being a pretty good situation, he let me have pretty much complete control over the retail sales floor. I worked close with the district manager and our store's GM to hire a couple really qualified and knowledgable guys.
It was good stuff. I would have stayed there, but when the company i was doing my internship at asked me to come and work full time for them, i just couldn't say no. Overall, it was a great experience.No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
