You owned an Advanced store? That seems like a pretty sweet gig, why would you leave? You must have had pretty good management skills to triple sales in a short amount of time
I did not own it
It was a new store that was struggling, i started as a parts pro, within a couple weeks they fired the assistant manager because he was a dumbass and the GM of the store gave me the position. It turned out being a pretty good situation, he let me have pretty much complete control over the retail sales floor. I worked close with the district manager and our store's GM to hire a couple really qualified and knowledgable guys.
It was good stuff. I would have stayed there, but when the company i was doing my internship at asked me to come and work full time for them, i just couldn't say no. Overall, it was a great experience.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

You sound like one of my customers. I don't give a crap how much money you have spent at Enterprise, you can pay like everyone else. Do you go to McDonalds and ask for free shit because you have eaten there before? Or go get a big steak somewhere, eat the whole thing, then tell them it sucked and want your money back? The part is on your Jeep, I wouldn't have given you anything.

i have u bolts from there, and have on the passed 4 jeeps ive had.
i know the ones ur talking about, fine thread, shiny, yada yada yada....
why the fuck did you tighten them with a breaker bar!!!!!
they dont need to be!!!!
they dont need to be grade 8 for U bolts.... infact i like the fact that they are not. i tighten them till they are tight. (you can tell when the plate starts bending) then drive for a few weeks and turn them a quarter turn max. and they are good to go......
THAT'S YOUR JEEP BUDDY, NOT MINE I RUN GRADE 8 AND IF I CAN STRIP THEM WITH MY BARE HANDS AND A TEN INCH WRENCH, THEN THEY DON'T EVEN BELONG ON MY FOURWHEELER TRAILER. GOT IT?
Then why didnt you just give him the u-bolts and get your money back?
If they werent on the vehcile you drove there, and you had the means to get to the store anyways, why not just take them off and return the defective product?
