2nd period math freshman year. Principal came over the intercom and said there has been an attack please turn on the tv at the teachers discretion. We watched for 5 minutes some asshole made a comment and my buddy Keith turned around and said shut the fuck up we are at war.

A couple weeks later there was a giant collection of items needed for the clean up at the Guilford Police Station. I was there all day and we filled 2 semis.

I was in 3rd grade too and I'm not sure if my school got evacuated or not, most likely we were. I remember a bunch of us asking to go to the bathroom to see the police officer in the lobby, because that was the coolest thing at the time. Didn't know what happened until later that afternoon why my mom told me. I remember her saying not to talk to other kids about it, in case their parents were the type to not tell their kids stuff. Then we watched the news.

I was in gym, went to the nurse cuz my "stomach hurt," turns out my mother was already on her way to get me.

To be honest at that age I wasn't very shocked or horrified as watching things unfold through a television has a severe numbing effect.

I was senior in college woke up to my alarm clock radio heard a plan hit the first building.
Walked out to my common air said you wouldn't believe what I just heard on the radio then I realized they were watching it on TV just in time to watch the second plane.

Class were basically all canceled I don't know if it was official or no just no one showed up even the teachers.

Then the school stopped all outside school activities for the rest of the year. Boston was on pretty high alert.
Sucked because I never got to race Mini Baja that year and it was a lot faster car than the year before where we came in 5th I really wanted to race.

i myself was in school. i was in the 11th grade in tech school and we rigged the tv with bunny ears, and watched in disbelief. school was let out early because there was fear that we were a state school the terrorists were coming for us next. doesn't seem like ten years to me though. damn where did it go?

I was attending the same college in Boston: WIT

I was in my dorm, my neighbor came over and we watched TV for a bit just saying WTF over and over again. Went outside to smoke a cig and there were cops cruzin down the road. found out later that day that some of the terrorists were staying at the Weston hotel down the road from my dorm

was a crazy week, couldn't believe this shit was happening and didn't know what was going to happen next if anything
