I have tried all that during lunch.. I just dont understand. The only position left to try is 3:00. If that doesnt do it i am filling the wiper fulid with rainx and telling lauren do enjoy.

I work at Imported Automotive we work on a bunch of those cars I don't know off hand but I'm sure I can figure it out ask AllData or my boss would probably know right away, we also have the software to get into those car computers.
I'll be working tonight until about 5:30 to 10-10:30

hahaha so true. My sister's '01 Jetta smells like melted crayons. She has 6 air fresheners in there and it just makes it worse. That car is such a piece of shit and it only has 100k miles. I've already fixed the wipers twice (loose nut), the tranny slips like a mofo on the highway, the check engine light has been OFF for a total of 3 days the whole time shes owned it, it has valve tick louder than my jeep (didn't know that was even possible), the spot in the driveway she parks it has more oil in it then is in the gulf. It leaks/burns about a quart every two weeks. I consider it a hybrid since it burns both gas and 10w40.

German Engineering is probably why the Nazis lost the war.

hahaha. The tranny slipping on the highway is weird as shit. I was driving at like 75 mph and all of a sudden its bouncing off the rev limiter and I'm slowing down. Then it bucks and keeps going. I looked at my sister and was like did you test drive this before you bought it? I don't even think the oil needs to be changed it leaks out so fast. I looked at the oil spot thats the size of canada and said WTF the oil is still gold colored.

-oil filter doesn't leak
-drain plug is new
-its the oil pan gasket, but fuck that. You have to remove half of the wiring harness and basically pull the engine out to get to it.
