Replace rear hatch struts so XJ tailgate no longer falls down, cheap plastic clips break and hatch falls on head.
Replace rear wiper blade, entire arm falls off while driving down the road.
Old exhaust rusts out so you buy a new one, tailpipe gets ripped off a week later.
Brakes squeak loudly so you replace them, now suspension squeaks.
Take hot girl on a date, XJ gets angry.-Josh

Here was my adventure with Wheel Bearings today since it was decided that my jeep needed new wheel bearings and ujoints.
First new bearing shows up: Bearing fits way too loose inside of the knuckle - tolerances are off by .020".
Second bearing: Tight fit in knuckle, but when completely assembled, the bearing wouldn't spin. Compared it to the one I removed from the jeep to find that it was assembled incorrectly.
Third bearing: Loose fit inside of knuckle. Almost give up but decide to just get a fourth one.
Fourth Bearing: Tight fit, install completely, torque axle shaft nut down with impact gun, hub spins freely: overcome with joy until I realized the rotor wouldn't fit over it. At this point I just fucking give up so Carl took a die grinder to the inside of the stud holes and we got it to fit. Complete install.
I waited close to 3 hours to finally get the right bearing and I'm still not thrilled about it. Oh well, love jeeps.sigpic

Go wheeling all day in the rocks, never even come close to flipping. On the drive home hit a patch of ice slide off the road into the woods...miss hitting any trees on the way back onto the road have to drive horizontally across a small side hill... slowly slide down hill. Hit downed tree broadside at 2 MPH. And do the lowest speed slow motion. Roll ever and lay it on the passenger side
