An automotive part isn't neccesarily considered illegal, just because it doesn't meet DOT approvals. I've done some research on the subject, and as far as I know there is no such law directly elluding to beadlocks being downright illegal for road use. With that being said, if an accident were to occur causing someone else injuries, I personally wouldn't be surprised if some hot shot lawyer could find some way to pilfer money out of someone claiming beadlocks were the cause.
If someone can proove me wrong, be my guest. "My dickhead neighborhood cop told me", is not a valid arguement, btw.Last edited by Even; 03-11-2011, 08:34 PM.

Still, no excuse. Drill bits aren't designed to take lateral load.Originally posted by hippie metal View Postgranted this is when it was JD's offroad, and I have heard from a number that since then they have gotten tremendously better, but yeah...that happened

I like how you always bitch about this (and they know you always bitch about this on the internet), and then you go there and ask them to do more work on your other jeep.Originally posted by hippie metal View PostThis is for you Phil,

Always bitch about this? I have mentioned that twice on the internet, had it NOT of happened at all, it would not have been mentioned twice on the internet. As for asking them to work on my jeep, asking them for work, I simply messaged Adam online, and asked him for a rough estimate on what it probably would cost to have a clutch linkage fabbed up so I could get a base of what I expect to pay in general, then RJ's father took care of it and it works great now.Originally posted by wannabejeep View PostI like how you always bitch about this (and they know you always bitch about this on the internet), and then you go there and ask them to do more work on your other jeep.
Hence why my second post was stating that I heard it was an all new staff and that their work had gotten better ten fold, if that instance happened to you, do not act like you wouldn't mention it when/if one of your friends starting talking about having the same establishment do work on their vehicle.Last edited by hippie metal; 03-13-2011, 03:44 PM.Originally posted by HitItWithSomeSpeeddidnt this thread start with Jon being gay? what happened to that?Originally posted by Lawn Guylandhe's still gay we've just moved on to more important issuesOriginally posted by Zullius Caesari grab dude's junk all the time, doesn't make me gay.
