Like points ignition, I actually just fixed a snow blower that had points.

Privacy what is that now a days. Your children are going to know every thing you ever did by putting your name in Google. Everyone has a camera and every stupid/crazy thing gets recorded.

Technology has been changing fast just to think my grandparents didn't even have electricity when they were kids.

Depends. Some parents refuse to accept the changes in technology while other parents embrace it.

No matter what, the parent's will always be 'uncool' in a teenager's eyes unless you grew a specific bond.

Yeah, Dillion, I know what you mean. My kids are probably going to have lots of guns and access to sweet offroad vehicles, hopefully.

Personally I'm not a fan of everything technology has to offer. I have problems with the way people interact these days. Internet relationships have more importance than real life relationships. People will go into a real room and instead of talking to people in the same room, they will shun the practice in order to talk to people they will never meet in a room that doesn't exist.... Most businesses have moved to automated customer service, and those that haven't might as well have with the desensitized scripted replies real people give you when you call for a simple problem/solution. I use the internet, and have my phone on me at all times, but I hate feeling tethered to these things.

Sometimes, Shane, you just have to embrace technology for what it is. Some people become addicted to it, and that itself is the problem, not the technology itself. Automated customer service numbers have been around for a while, so it's nothing new, but there are still companies out there that rely heavily on customer service and giving people the ability to talk on the phone to someone.
