why do they hate them?

They are solid rubber with holes around the rim area to allow it to flex like in the pictures. There is no suspension in a payloader besides the seat and tires. They tried this style, I do not think the tires flexed as good as the foam filled. Good idea, maybe good for some applications but not garbage loaders.
