But now, since we have wireless everywhere, you can grab a small flip HD cam and have it live fed into a news studio.. don't believe me?
and I'm more interested in Narrative film, and cameras are getting smaller and smaller, my camera right now has alot of empty space in it, the on;y reason its so big is because is for professional look, it could be cut down so much smaller, but its kept big, thats why smaller cameras have so many attachments, to make it look bigger and professional

keep your camera.
video costs more money. no ones gonna laugh at you if you have a HD cam, they will laugh at you if youre using an old school shoulder DV cam.
come shoot with the sony DSR-250s we have at school and tell me your panasonic is big.

This camera is not bridging the gap between Video and Stills... I'll put money down and confirm it that if the camera is exactly what they say it is... more people will buy it for te video function than the still function..
Cause there's this whole thing about Depth of Field, or what on the screen is in focus... indie filmmakers are crazy about it, and this camera does that...
I won't be using this camera for documentary work, only narrative film/short films
