      actually i still havent heard from that kid yet. i have been waiting, so as of right now i still got a free 78 f250 D60

        Maybe someone can answer my question.

        Why are Ford front 60's supposedly so hard to get cheap, I've seen entire junk trucks going for 400-500 bucks and also wouldn't these things be littering any flat rate priced u-pullit junkyard (Harry's, Gary's) by now considering there is about a 20 year window of trucks you can snag them out of? And now they are even putting them in new F250's again.

          drivers side drop is one the biggest reasons. that and its basically bolt into the front of my waggy. and they are hard to find, took me 2 years of waiting to find mine

            78/79 60's are desirable to us jeep guys for a number of reasons. Not all ford 60's will work for our particular application. So despite the fact that theres 20+ years of axles to snag, they may not be the right ones.

              Every Ford truck I have ever seen is driver drop.

                    ^just the front. the rear I snagged for free-fitty.

                    and the kid hasnt said anything to ryan at all about getting paid, so turns out we may have gotten the set for free.

                                Two bucks will get you the race of your life.
