Rausch Creek Weekend 4-21-12

Its that time of year again, figured i start a post in the event forum for non members to give everyone a heads up. This is the weekend of SIS club comp, for those who don't know. For those who arn't doing the comp, we will trail ride, there will be a couple groups of rigs: those running green trails (more user friendly 31-33s no lockers) and those who want to do more blues and blacks.

Majority will probably leave thursday around 3ish, wheel friday saturday and half day sunday. If anyone wants to convoy down, put up a post.

All i have to say is.... 2 years ago now, WORST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.

It snowed. i had dranken only beer for 48 hours straight. dehydrated and frozen, i lay awake. WANTING the cold grasp of death to pull me away from my tent.

I slept for an hour in a truckstop and contemplated walking.... 8 miles.... to the hotel. Will never camp for club comp again. period.

the comfort inn in pine grove has a discount for RC. it's around $65 a night. i'm sure you could find 3 other people to share a room with and make it cheap if the weather is gonna be bad
