  • Coil spring spacers. . .experiences?

Got my 35's on recently, and they don't rub at all on the street, but when they start to flex, they rub off road. I would much rather get some more height cheap, and go with coil spacers instead of new springs. Just want to know if any of you use em and if they suck or if they are fine with no problems? And would you recommend going with bigger springs or is it a waste of money?

Jeep has a 3" lift right now.

From what i've HEARD a 1" spacer won't do any harm. Springs are preferrable though.

agreed, although it cant hurt to get another inch of lift along w/ bumpstops. I run 3/4" spacers up front to level out the RE3.5" kit w/ no negative effects.

Yea, I plan on "Bumstoppin it up" in the next week or so, but with 14.50 tires and only a 3 inch lift, I'd feel a little safer if I was another 1 to 2 inches up, haha. I'm trying to keep my COG as low as possible with 35's however, so I may try 1.5 spacers for now. Theyre cheap enough so if I hate em, I can toss them.

I'm now accepting donations for highline fenders. Currently have 5$. Only 1,995$ more to go. C'mon guys, we can do it! Please send all donations to me.

Oh I have wheeled it hard so far! I'm not easy on my vehicles, but at the same time, I'd like to preserve it as long as I can. I don't mind scratches too much or small dents, but taking a cut off wheel to my hood and fenders makes me cry inside!

And plus, the thornbirds were 200$ for 4 with 75% tread.....any half sane man would have taken them! I'll put em to the test this weekend though, haha.
