just use some grease(waterproof) in the seal and you don't have to glab it in, just a lil

Which seal? the the rear output?
Is it leaking out of the splines/center of the yoke?
              Between the Yoke and seal?
Between the seal and the housing?
              Or some wheres else?

Use transmission assembly lube or petroleum jelly/Vaseline.
Both will melt in the transmission fluid/oil.

If you use normal grease/wheel bearing grease the grease doesn't melt and you end up with globs of grease floating around.
Not the worse thing to happen but trans jelly works best but if you ask for it at an autoparts store they will look at you like you have three heads so order it on-line.
