i changed the oil in my jeep and now it sounds like a loud ass diesel. it always sounded like that a little bit but now its really loud. anybody got any ideas? i'm guessing the valves. do i need a new head?

5-30 is really light. its getting warmer, throw in 15-40 diesel oil (rotella, shell, castrol..) in and itll work 10000000x betterComment

Jesus christ how many times I have to tell people, run what the factory says too! 20 50 is too thick and 5 30 is too thin. Do what adam said, diesel oil has additives newer oils don't have. Chevron Delo oil is good too.Comment

According to my owners manual 5w30, 10w30, 10w40, 20w40, and 20w50 are recommended.Comment
