ok so i just bought a solid axle front diff cover, new shocks, made new rear shock axle mounts, bought rubicon express hd track bar and unibody bracket and also completeoffroad.com one ton steering set-up. I'm running under the knuckle setup and i assembled it all together and at almost 3/4 turn to the right it comes in contact with the track bar bolt and bracket and does not allow me turn any further it also comes in contact with the diff cover. I didnt read anything on thier website about problems with under the knuckle set-up like this. i did hear if i went over the knuckle i would have to modify spring plates etc....thats the reason i went utk setup. anyone ever have issues like this ??????????????????

I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say "modify spring plates". The only thing that you might have to change would be your track bar mounting locations. The track bar needs to stay as parrallel as possible to the drag link. It's also not uncommon to have clearance issues with aftermarket diff covers, you have to check that sort of thing in advance. I run the same steering setup, and if I ran mine UTK it would absolutely hit the cover at full lock.
I personally would just flip it over and run OTK, I don't see a reason not to at this point. Have you already welded the tube inserts into the drag link?

If you are running 1-ton TRE's you just need access to a 1.5" per foot tapered reamer to ream down from the top of the knuckle. There's a few people on the board that have them, or you could buy one yourself. A nice one runs around 80 bucks.

I just drilled and reamed OTK and cut off my sway bar ends and steering stablizer and trimmed my spring plates, it will hit a little but not bad. And it does clear my Ruffstuff cover.-Caleb

What are the benefits of OTK?
On a stock height street driven jeep, it doesn't really matter. But, anything that sees trail time I think it's worth doing.

i reccomend bend in steerin
you will explode a solid cover before you bend it
