Having an overdrive makes a lot bigger difference then they lead on here. I run 32s on my truck with 3.55s and I wouldn't mind getting a bigger tire to get the cruise rpm down. Each vehicle is a separate case. I run 4.56's and 38s on my trail jeep and 1st gear is nice... CR is around 100:1 there are other ways to get there than r&p
