    i know right? that's CW's truck, he's got quite a bit done to it... and yeah it's pretty common, those little plastic bushings have been absorbing friction for 17 years now... best way to tell if the theyre bad is grab one of the wiper arms and try to manually move it up and down the windshield.... shouldn't be that much travel.. if its sloppy the bushings are bad.. the ones in my mj were gone and the wipers wouldn't return all the way to the bottom

      yeah thats what was happening for a while. now they just get stuck on every other wipe. it sucks especially with this weather.

        ya that sucks... back in high school i had a pontiac land barge station wagon, and during a storm like this one the linkage was so worn that the wipers actually hit each other and stopped...

          ok now im curious if i get some 1/4" thick by 4" wide by 1ft long steel, do you guys think these would be ideal to mount on my framerail with grade 8 hardware in order to mount some towhooks or d rings?
