Which BFG's?

trying to decide between the at's or km2's in the 33x10.5 size...im leaning more towards the ATs im looking for feedback with how they perform on the trails at rausch...if they perform decent id rather get them over the km2s but i might wait for a deal on either of the two to show up...

any opinions?

I haven't run them myself, but I've ridden in rigs with them and they're a damn good tire.

I run the A/T, there good on the street but thats pretty much it. Wheeling i cant really hit anything if it's muddy and wet out cause i just spin the tyaz.

those are 2 totally different tires.

do you drive down dirt roads once every blue moon?

or do you actually wheel your junk and want some traction in teh rawks?

From what I have experienced the AT's are great for on road, good in rain, awesome in snow, decent for mild wheeling and mud, and occasional rocks. They are a great all around tire. I recommend them over any other AT out there. But, If you want to go places farther than that you can't beat the KM2's. They are a great tire.

I will probably be the only guy that says the A/T's are awesome. When I had them in 31's open/open on my last jeep they were great. I ran blacks at raush when it was an all out downpour and had no problems. the only place they were lacking IMO is in the cleaning out of mud. But if you are into rocks they do pretty good for what they are.

However, if I were to do it again I would buy the KM2's just because I bought the a/t's thinking I wasn't going to be wheeling but once or twice a year and most definately wheeled alot more than that.

So if you are into mud/dirthillclimb wheelin and wheel often go KM2's but if you drive a hella lot on the road and want a lottttaa life outta your tyahs i think the At's are a good choice.

Dickerman has BFG AT too... they seem pretty decent offroad. Yes... I just mentioned offroad and Dickerman in the same sentence.

i think it matters what do you care about the most. offroad traction or on road noise and performance

I would just get the KM2s unless you don't plan on wheeling at all. It is worth it to have the extra traction when wheeling in anything wet and also they look cooler in parking lots than ATs. Newer mud terrains are much quieter on the road and wear a lot better than they used to. I would imagine that your WJ is much quieter than a Xj and I never noticed how much louder my STTs were than my old ATs and mine have worn wierd lately
