Whats the secret to doing this on an xj?

Do i just cut that shit off? or is there some secret fold technique?

i just cut slits every 3 inches or so, and folded them over via hammer. Just be careful though, there are spot welds and if you cut them I think you will separate the fender.

If you cut the inside higher than the outside you can fold in the outer part so that its all boxed in if you weld it. That is if im remembering this correctly. I was pretty wasted when we did this.

on mine i just cut 2 little sections out of the front by the tire and the back by the bumper and folded the inner and outter pieces up. weld that shit up and it's water tight.
