i dont know how a WJs front fenders are constructed, but hopefully this method can crossover to help you.

But seriously I used a good set of tin snips. It took a while, and I cut myself, and that got infected. But hey it kept me busy for a while.
also fail on the tin snips"when I'm riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive...when I stop riding my motorcycle,I'm glad to be alive"

ui always liked angle grinder with cut-off wheel's. I cut my hood down and sliders with 4 1/2" cut off wheels and worked great. here's a tip for ya. mask off the surrounding and primer/paint the edge you cut, even if you fold it over...
another tip is go to wal-mart/ auto store and pick up some black rubber door edge protector. its about 3/8" wide rubber strips with a slot in them. squeeze some rtv into the slip and push it over freshly cut sheet metal edge and it will not only get rid of sharp edges, with the rtv it will seal the edge so it wont rust out my hood has been cut down for about 2 year's now and not a single spot of rust yet.
