pull your shafts and take them to a machine shop to have them press out/ press in the new u-joints. i made the mistake of trying to do it myself with only a ball joint clamp. i was able to get them out this way, but it was not fun. and i fucked up some needle bearings putting them back together. just take them to a machine shop, most small autopart stores have a machinist that will do them cheap.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I have never attempted shit like that myself but from what i have heard it's just a pain in the ass for the price shops charge you.

i used a combination of aerokroil, a hammer, a torch, a 5 ft piece of DOM slid onto the breaker bar to get enough leverage on the vice and it still took about 2 1/2 hrs to press both of them out.

When I did mine with Rckymtntj it took about an hour of smashing, along with the two socket trick and a vice.

I did them over the weekend. I got a ball joint press from auto zone to press out the old ones and to put the new ones in. Yes it was a pain in da BALLZZZ.
