The MTRs on the rubi suck balls! They are kinda noisy too, I had horrible traction with them in rain.

I gotz rid of them though for MTZs and they were super quiet compared to the MTRs. It can be kinda chilly in the winter, but once my jeep gets warmed up the heater fucking burns my legs its so hott.

I love my TJ, i think its either you love them or you hate them. They dont ride amazing, they arent the best agianst the elements, they arent quiet but I love mine and wouldnt trade it for any XJ or WJ.

My boss had a regular 06 tj with the 6 speed. It was mighty nice to drive.

When they were having 0% APR, I went and test drove an 06 rubicon. The easiest one to get out of the lot was a base one with the half doors and soft top. It wasn't bad at all, but i was weirded out when I looked behind as I felt like part of the Jeep was missing. I don't have this issue when I drive my buddys YJ, but the fact the dash looks similar to mine got in my head.

I think it is tough to be the factory capability of one if you really plan on wheeling one and is the best TJ to start with.

for the money you would be spending on the rubi you can take half of it an put it into your xj an it would be 37685x better for everythin than a stock rubi. imo i rather have something that i got cheap an fix it up to work like new so an am not afraid to wheel it-or do anything to it that you would rather not wana do with this mint new thing you just got from a dealer.
