well as far as doing it myself for either, i dont have a welder and making plating like the kits is a pain with an angle grinder...sure i can outsource a welder and all that but its just a pain on someone elses time, naamean?

either way the shop offered to buy me the HD off road engineering kit and install it all for me as a direct trade for my work, and the costs come out to about the same as what i would charge for the video...so it worked out that way so i went with it
