Opinion on locking my axle

okay okay okay you guys convinced me. But in the mean time. Couldn't i just weld it up and wait for it to break, while looking for an axle. What is your guys thoughts on a lincoln locker anyways, keep in mind i have to drvie it on the road too.

do you really want to be stuck out in the woods? do you enjoy swapping shafts at night in the winter? do you like the possibility of snapping while turning around in the gas station? do you want a decreased turning radius? do you want to wear our your tires like crazy?

if you answer yes to any of these questions, i say go for it

okay thanks everyone for the honest answers. This is why i'm asking because i had no idea about any of this. I'm seventeen and on a high school budget which is next to nothing. Thats why i have no room to test all this out my self.

it will take you no time to find a cheap upgraded bolt in axle for your xj. dont even bother pulling the cover on a d35 if you wheel.

Never spool up a daily.
